Le mercredi 07 octobre 2026, la grande salle de réunion du siège de l’ONECCA à Douala a accueilli la réunion de lancement des activités du Secrétariat du Congrès ONECCA-CSONEC-CEMAC, qui se tiendra du 06 au 08 octobre 2027 à la Maison de la Culture Sawa de Douala.

 

Sous le thème « L’expert-comptable, architecte de la transformation : compétences élargies, gouvernance renforcée et création de valeur durable pour l’Afrique de demain », ce congrès majeur réunira plus de 1 000 participants autour des enjeux stratégiques de la profession comptable en Afrique centrale.

Objectifs du congrès

Le congrès vise à positionner durablement l’expert-comptable comme un acteur stratégique, innovant et responsable de la transformation économique, financière, numérique et durable de l’Afrique centrale, en définissant une vision prospective à l’horizon 2035.

Les échanges s’articuleront autour de plusieurs axes majeurs :

  • Innovation et transformation numérique : automatisation, data analytics, cybersécurité et digitalisation des cabinets

  • Gouvernance, transparence et confiance : éthique professionnelle, lutte contre la fraude et le blanchiment, contrôle qualité

  • Formation, jeunesse et profession du futur : référentiel de compétences CEMAC, leadership féminin, attractivité de la profession

Plus qu’un congrès, Douala 2027 sera le point de départ d’une nouvelle dynamique pour la profession comptable africaine : une profession plus innovante, plus influente, plus ouverte sur le monde et pleinement engagée au service de la transformation durable de l’Afrique.

On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, the main conference room at ONECCA’s headquarters in Douala hosted the launch meeting of the Secretariat activities for the ONECCA-CSONEC-CEMAC Congress, scheduled for October 6–8, 2027, at the Maison de la Culture Sawa in Douala.

 

Under the theme « The Chartered Accountant, Architect of Transformation: Expanded Skills, Strengthened Governance, and Sustainable Value Creation for Tomorrow’s Africa, » this major congress will bring together more than 1,000 participants to discuss the strategic challenges facing the accounting profession in Central Africa.

Congress Objectives

The congress aims to firmly position the chartered accountant as a strategic, innovative, and responsible player in the economic, financial, digital, and sustainable transformation of Central Africa, by defining a forward-looking vision for 2035.

Discussions will focus on several key areas:

  • Innovation and digital transformation: automation, data analytics, cybersecurity, and digitalization of firms

  • Governance, transparency, and trust: professional ethics, anti-fraud and anti-money laundering, quality control

  • Financing the economy: the role of chartered accountants in financing African SMEs and start-ups, CEMAC financial markets, financial engineering

  • Sustainability and responsible value creation: non-financial reporting, ESG standards, sustainable finance, circular economy
